Have an eventful Friday night at the Big Muddy Dance Company’s season opener, the debut of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s Crafted concert series or Monaco’s art auction fundraiser. Night at the Brewseum

SLSO Crafted Concert
This Friday, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra presents the first-ever SLSO Crafted, a unique concert event mixing happy hour fun with the sounds of a world-class orchestra. Tickets include beverage samples from some the city’s favorite breweries, as well as wine, cocktails and other drinks plus appetizers from popular restaurants like Small Batch, Mango Peruvian Cuisine, Southern and more.

Intersect Arts Center is hosting a Fall Festival, Weihnachtspyramide (or WNPD for short!), on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be free pony rides, a free petting zoo, free hot chocolate and free mugs, craft projects, live music, free beer from Urban Chestnut and works from more than 30 local artisans. The festival is also holding a clothing drive, so feel free to bring any food or clothing you’d like to donate.

december magazine reading
december magazine, one of the city’s premier literary journals, invites the public to a fall reading and reception called december in November, on Sunday, Nov. 17, at the new literary center High Low. The reading commemorates the launch of the journal’s Volume 30.2 and features a poetry reading from Alex Mouw, prose from Sylvia Sukop and art from Jane Birdsall-Lander.
