The City Museum’s after-hours event series, City Museum After Dark, turns the array of fantastical rooms to into a 21+ playground. Artist Talk at CAM: Bethany Collins

Nick Offerman comedy show 

Award-winning actor, writer and comedian Nick Offerman who’s best known as Ron Swanson on the NBC Sitcom “Parks and Recreation” returns to St. Louis with his latest live comedy show, “All Rise,” on Thursday, Nov. 7, at Stifel Theatre. Tickets are available online.

Schlafly Beer’s Full Moon Festival 

Schlafly Beer’s Full Moon Festival is this Saturday, Nov. 9, at Schlafly Bottleworks in Maplewood. The family-friendly, day-long festival includes seasonal beers (including the pumpkin ale and white lager), bonfires, a pig roast, live music and a chili-cook off between five chefs from some of St. Louis’ most popular restaurants. An $8 ticket gets you samples of all five chili recipes and a ticket to cast your ballot for the favorite.

St. Louis International Film Festival opening reception

The 2019 St. Louis International Film Festival kicks off this week with a series of events running from Nov. 7-17. The opening night reception and screening is on Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Tivoli Theatre, featuring a reception at 6:30 p.m. and a film screening of “Marriage Story” beginning at 8 p.m. Tickets include complimentary drinks. Fashion Anarchy: The Final Event
