The Chocolate Pig Set to Open This Fall in Cortex Innovation Hall

 In Food, News

Among many 2018 developments in St. Louis’ dense tech scene will be the new Innovation Hall in the Cortex Innovation Community, opened by the city’s Venture Cafe in the Central West End. The Innovation Hall concept will include a drop-in workspace that’s free and open to the public, a Civic Lounge, an event space for up to 300 attendees and The Chocolate Pig, a concept restaurant and cafe. The idea brings together all of the elements that create successful community, engagement and entrepreneurship.

The Chocolate Pig will be a project of 23 City Blocks Hospitality Group, which is responsible for The Caramel Room at Bissinger’s, Handcrafted by Bissinger’s, the Lumen Private Event Space and 23 City Blocks Catering. The cafe will be open daily and offer seated service for lunch, dinner and brunch on Sunday’s, with a casual, modern approach with a variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options as well. 23 City Blocks Catering will also stock The Market for grab-and-go meals and coffee.

The project is currently slated to open late summer or early fall.
