Meet The Saint Louis Fashion Incubator’s Inaugural Class On Nov. 17

It’s been a big year in preparation of the launch of the Saint Louis Fashion Incubator, which aims to be the main catalyst in the revitalization of downtown St. Louis’ garment district. On Thursday, Nov. 17, the fashion leader invites enthusiasts to meet its inaugural class for their first public appearance.

Join key members of the St. Louis fashion community in giving a warm welcome to the new designers-in-residence of the SLFI: Donald Charles Smith Brame II (Smith II); Agnes Hamerlik (Hamerlik); Emily Koplar (Wai Ming); Allison Mitchell (Allison Mitchell); Audra Noyes (AUDRA), and Reuben Reuel Riddick (Demestik by Reuben Reuel), five of whom are moving their brands to St. Louis by the proposed opening date of Jan. 2, 2017.

All six of the designers will be integrated into the local community, in addition to the SLFI benefits which include: free studio space, a financial stipend, mentorship and business support, sales and collaborative opportunities, and professional development. Programming for St. Louis area fashion students and designers will also be on the agenda for development in 2017.

The welcoming event is free and open to the public with a requested RSVP ( and will take place at T-Rex (911 Washington Ave., 5th Floor) from 5-7pm. Drinks and lite bites provided.
