Firecracker Pizza & Beer To Open In The Grove March 21

 In Feature, Food

Among the new restaurants popping up in St. Louis this spring will be Firecracker Pizza & Beer, helmed by an appealing duo: Atomic Cowboy owner Chip Schloss and Pi Pizzeria co-founder Frank Uible. The pair tapped chef Liz Schuster to lead the kitchen, formerly of the Scottish Arms, The Chase Park Plaza and Tenacious Eats.

The leadership team has created a concept that will stand apart from traditional joints by offering a curated and meticulously prepared selection of delicious pizzas and beers, as one venue that excels in both areas. They also showcase imaginative branding with an edge, even collaborating with local award-winning creative studio TOKY to develop a colorful, whimsical mural on one of the building’s walls.

Capitalizing on the local beer culture—the growing local craft-beer culture, to be specific—Firecracker Pizza & Beer will also serve selections from St. Louis-area breweries, including City Wide and City Wide Pils from 4 Hands Brewing Company. Better yet, if you’re going out on the town for a night in the Grove, this venue just may be your new favorite local spot for late-night fare. Hours will be every day until 1:30 a.m., serving food until 12:30 a.m.
