Date Night on a Blues Cruise? Gateway Arch Welcomes Visitors to Hop Aboard Its Specialty Cruise Line

 In Culture, News

Earlier this summer, the Gateway Arch opened its new grounds, boasting a host of renovations and new additions for visitors to enjoy, such as the reopening of its museum and an upcoming temporary public-art installation by local artist Margaret Keller. Now, visitors can also select from a host of specialty cruises along the riverfront hosted by Riverboats at the Gateway Arch.

For those interested in a family-friendly daytime excursion, they can hop aboard the Sunday Brunch Cruise from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and feast on a buffet including French toast, carved prime rib, stuffed chicken breast and more. In addition, Riverboats at the Gateway Arch also hosts its Blues Cruise for those 21-years-old and up, where guests can enjoy cocktails and music from bands such as Skeet Rodgers and the Inner City Blues Band, Marquise Knox, Soulard Blues Band, among others. All cruises take place on the historic 19th-century paddle-wheel riverboats that were brought to the riverfront in 1964.

Although the brunch and blues cruises are the most-discussed, visitors can also consider other specialty cruises such as the Majic on the Mississippi, Oktoberfest Cruise and Halloween Party Cruise. Ticket prices vary and can be purchased on the Riverboats at the Gateway Arch website.
