“With the Mind: Photographs By Anne Deniau” takes its title from a quote in Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”: “Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind,” that McQueen had tattooed on his arm. The opening will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 6-8pm and will feature a selection of works from her book, “Love Looks Not with the Eyes,” a 400-photograph collection of McQueen and his work. For 13 years, Deniau was the only photographer granted access to the designer’s studio, offering an exclusive and first-hand look into the world and mind of the legendary creator himself.
