Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg attend the St. Louis Red Carpet Premiere of “The Other Guys”
Moviegoers voted on Facebook and chose St. Louis as the host city for this star-studded event.
Last night, superstars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg walked the red carpet at Wehrenberg Chesterfield Galaxy Theater for “The Other Premiere,” a special movie screening of Ferrell and Wahlberg’s new summer comedy “The Other Guys.”
For three weeks, fans cast their vote on Facebook to decide which U.S. city would host a red carpet event for the movie. From the original 20 cities, voters chose 10, then narrowed it down to five before selecting St. Louis as the winning host city.
After signing hundreds of fan autographs and before meeting with press, Ferrell and Wahlberg met Mayor Francis Slay, who presented the actors with keys to the city. Baseball Hall-of-Famer and beloved former St. Louis Cardinals shortstop Ozzie Smith presented Ferrell and Wahlberg with honorary Cardinals jerseys.
“The Other Guys” stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne Johnson. It opens in theaters nationwide today.
