Amsterdam Tavern
Soccer is year-round, serious business at this Tower Grove South tavern, but everything is amplified when the World Cup rolls around once every four years. Wanting to welcome as many soccer fans as possible, the Amsterdam Tavern actually built a beer garden and outdoor bar complete with plenty of TVs to accommodate the extra crowds. Another treat for the World Cup will be three unique beers specially brewed by Urban Chestnut, 4 Hands and The Civil Life. Next door neighbor, The Dam, will also be cooking up specials all World Cup long. Amsterdam Tavern was even recently recognized on Buzz Feed as the number one place to watch soccer in Missouri. 3175 Morgan Ford Rd., Tower Grove South, 314.772.8224.

Ballpark Village
Downtown’s newest entertainment hotspot is proving that Ballpark Village isn’t just for Cardinal Nation to cheer on the Redbirds. Come kick off, soccer fans will be wowed watching live coverage of the most hyped World Cup matches on the Fox Sports Midwest Live! 40 foot, LED screen. Every seat in the house will provide a good glimpse of the action, plus Ballpark Village’s more than 400 taps will ensure even the wildest fan won’t get parched in the midst of a high-stress match. 601 Clark Ave., Downtown, 314.345.9481.

Catch every matchup at Clayton’s hottest soccer hang out, where special World Cup deals and giveaways will keep the crowds happy regardless of the final score. While watching, sip on a favorite regional craft brew, a European classic or get a discounted draft of Stella and take the glass home as a World Cup memento. Also, no fan will go hungry at Barrister’s where a long list of traditional pub fare, like shepherd’s pie and London broil, will keep the crowds satisfied. 7923 Forsyth Blvd., Clayton, 314.726.5007.

The Scottish Arms
Feel transported across the pond to a perfectly packed pub when watching the World Cup unfold at The Scottish Arms. Don’t miss a single kick while cozying up in this old world style bar or head out to their patio and catch a few rays of summer sun while watching on new plasma TVs. Regardless of where you decide to watch the match, every fan can raise a glass with a properly poured pint or a favorite whiskey to toast every hard-fought goal. Fans can also pick up a special Scottish Arms t-shirt to get in the World Cup spirit. 8 S. Sarah St., Central West End, 314.535.0551.

Tigin Irish Pub
Fans won’t miss a single match at Tigin, where all 64 of the World Cup face offs will be shown live at one of the best soccer bars in St. Louis. To celebrate the month-long competition, Tigin will offer special prices on pint and menu item combinations, like the Fadó Reuben served with chips and your choice of three available beers for $15.45. Serious fans can also up the ante by entering the international Fadó World Cup bracket for the chance to win the ultimate million-dollar prize. 333 Washington Ave., Downtown, 314.241.8666.

The Biergarten at Anheuser-Busch
St. Louis’ biggest brewery is bringing a little Brazilian flair to Soulard with a special viewing party featuring drummers, dancers and the Budweiser Futbol Kings (a free-style soccer performance group) at the outdoor Biergarten on June 12 from 2-7pm. Fans will watch the Brazil team face off against Croatia in the first match of the World Cup on the Biergarten’s 16-foot screen all while sipping on the freshest Budweiser products found around town. 12th and Lynch Streets, Soulard, 314.577.2626.
