A Night At The Brewseum

We can’t wait for the third iteration of “A Night at the Brewseum,” presented by the Missouri Historical Society Library & Research Center in partnership with Urban Chestnut Brewing Company. Learn about the history of beer advertising in St. Louis at a panel featuring local experts, then mingle with beer- and design-lovers alike in the chic space at Brennan’s Work & Leisure in Midtown.

Whitaker Urban Evening Concert Series

Through mid-July, head to St. Louis Place Park for the Whitaker Urban Evening Concert Series, a multi-week cultural event in Old North featuring live performances by local talent. This week, groove to Marquise Knox, participate in fun family activities, learn about community initiatives and services and fill up on delicious eats from food trucks on site.

Marc Maron at Helium Comedy Club

Comedy fans likely know of Marc Maron, a veteran of screen, stage, radio, Netflix specials and more. Maron hosts the hit podcast “WTF with Marc Maron,” where he has interviewed figures like Robin Williams, Ben Stiller and Barack Obama. This weekend, Helium Comedy Club in Richmond Heights welcomes Maron to the stage for three nights of entertainment, hilarity and insight.

‘Guys and Dolls’

You know it’s summer in St. Louis when The Muny unveils another season of musical theater performances. This week at the outdoor amphitheater in Forest Park, don’t miss the Broadway classic “Guys and Dolls,” featuring an endearing cast of gamblers, smooth-talkers and stanch New Yorkers.

Up-Down STL Grand Opening

St. Louis gets a new arcade bar this weekend complete with more than 60 vintage games, a stacked lineup of craft beer and an expansive patio in the Central West End. On Friday evening, plan to arrive early for Up-Down STL’s grand opening party in order to snag free game tokens offered to the first 100 guests.

May’s Night Market

The Ready Room in The Grove welcomes another installment of May’s Night Market this Friday, including an all-new roster of local businesses, vendors, artisans and makers. Shop a curated selection of vintage clothes and accessories from May’s Place, mingle and sip on local beer and cocktails from The Ready Room’s bar.

A MidSummer Bites Dream

This Saturday’s Tower Grove Farmers’ Market breaks from routine to welcome 130 local vendors to the park for the South Grand market’s biggest event of the year: the third annual A MidSummer Bites Dream. Sample some of the region’s best bites, pick up fresh produce and cool off with an ice pop or two.

Juneteenth
