4 Hands Heart & Soul Beer Launch
A new year calls for a new beer launch from one of our favorite local breweries, 4 Hands Brewing Co. One $5 ticket gets you a pour of the mysterious newcomer to 4 Hands’ lineup—or you can secure a full bottle of Heart & Soul from the bar. All proceeds benefit SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.

‘sky every day’ Exhibition Opening
Projects+gallery in the Central West End presents its newest group exhibition, “sky every day,” curated by the indomitable Jessica Baran. Titled after a 1968 poem by Aram Saroyan, the show brings together works in which materials take center stage, inspired by the formal genre of minimalist poetry. The exhibition features artists Christine Corday, Paul Cowan, N. Dash, Tom Friedman, Michelle Grabner, Ajay Kurian, Roman Liska, Anthony Pearson, Richard Serra, Joshua Smith and Keef Winter. Come to mingle and sip a complimentary beverage while you take in the artwork.

Munchies ‘n’ Movies
This Thursday, the Saint Louis Hop Shop on Cherokee Street hosts a beer-centric movie night in collaboration with Oskar Blues Brewery. Taste their newest Tropical IPA, Can-O-Bliss, and sample several other offerings from Oskar Blues while you kick back and enjoy the classic comedy “Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle.” Snag a slider from the White Castle Crave Cases while supplies last.

Kehinde Wiley: The Power of Aesthetics
Experience the Saint Louis Art Museum’s raved-about exhibition of work by acclaimed painter Kehinde Wiley this Friday at a talk with Larry Ossei-Mensah, the Susanne Feld Hilberry Senior Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit. Ossei-Mensah will discuss Wiley’s manipulation of the power of aesthetics through the lens of art history, music, place and identity.

Schlafly Beer Festival: Cabin Fever 2019
