Upcoming Summit Shows Lagers Some Love

 In Event, Sponsored

For the past few years, ales seemed to be getting all the attention in the craft-beer business. But trend-watchers say 2019 is the year of the easy-drinking, thirst-quenching lager.

Want to learn more? Mark your calendars for Urban Chestnut Brewing Co.’s second annual Lager Summit on Sunday, March 31. Sample a variety of lagers crafted by breweries from across the country and attend talks about brewing history, lagering caves, homebrewing techniques and more.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at UCBC’s location in The Grove. A lineup of participating breweries from across the United States, as well as the presenters and topics, is available online.

Tickets cost $25 in advance and $32 plus tax the day of the summit. Admission includes a commemorative sampling glass, unlimited beer samples, a free survey at The U.R.B. during the event and access to all conference talks.
