St. Louis entrepreneurs will take on the “Sharks” of ABC’s critically-acclaimed reality show “Shark Tank,” on Friday, Nov. 1.

Tim Barklage and Kevin Tibbs are co-founders of Better Life, which produces green-friendly cleaning solutions that are plant derived.

The idea for the project initially stemmed from a mission for their children to be able to crawl on clean, non-toxic surfaces. Being an experienced formulation chemist, Tibbs took on the challenge. Barklage, deemed chief idealist and CEO, worked to build the brand. They have successfully been working together since 2007.

Now, the duo will get a unique opportunity to present their product across the nation with more than 7 million viewers and possibly gain valuable investments.

On each episode of the Emmy-nominated business-themed reality series, the panel of investors, known as Sharks, watch pitches from entrepreneurs who hope to strike a deal with one of them.

Will Tibbs and Barklage sink or swim with their green cleaning products? Find out when they demonstrate how to safely clean homes to the Sharks on ABC this Friday, Nov. 1 at 8pm CST.
