While renovating the building where Tree House is currently located, owner Bay Tran says they knew they wanted to have a separate space that could be used for special events or special occasions. The concept, Tran says, is simple: “A well-designed area that would make people feel comfortable and encourage them to gather, ‘break bread,’ socialize and maybe make some new memories.” She also describes the atmosphere as whimsical.

The goal is to hold events at least a few times per month while partnering with local businesses, which Tran loves. With past collaborations with I Scream Cakes, 4 Hands Brewery and now Tallgrass, she says she definitely wants that to happen more in the future.

Up next for the upstairs space? Tran says Tree House wants to plan a Halloween Party.

As for tomorrow, guests can start the evening at 8pm with a cask tapping upstairs of the Tallgrass Zombie Monkie Cask with cinnamon and cocoa nibs. From 9pm to midnight, guests can partake in the exclusive 4-course late night food pairings with Tallgrass Beers. The menu is available prix fixe for $25 with 8 oz. beer pairings or $7.50 a la carte for a single serving with an 8 oz. beer pairing. Drink specials will include specials such as the Rye Tea Fizz, which is essentially a chai tea latte in cocktail form with Bulleit rye, chai tea, Big O, Cointreau, bitters, honey syrup and egg white. For the pairings, guests can expect vegetarian and vegan treats like house-popped corn with savory and fall spices alongside a Tallgrass Pub Ale or a chorizo taco paired with a Tallgrass Ethos IPA.

Tickets are available at Tree House prior to the event or at the door. 3177 S. Grand Blvd., Tower Grove South, 314.696.2100
