This Week's Dish: Scape Launches Wine Pairing Weekdays, Food & Wine Experience Arrives This Weekend

Ever wonder if you should order a glass of wine with your meal? Wonder no more. Last week, Scape kicked off its new Wine Pairing Weekdays, which offers complimentary wine pairings with select starters and entrées Tuesday-Thursday through March. Wine manager Travis Hebrank will select pairings to go along with the rotating menu, as new items and pairings will change each week. Starters range from $10-$15 and entrees $18-$39.This unique opportunity will allow guests to enjoy a favorite pairing with their meal or perhaps take a step out of their comfort zone with something new. 48 Maryland Plaza, Central West End, 314.361.7227

Jan. 23-25: Make plans to warm up your weekend with the 13th Annual Food & Wine Experience. Presented by Schnucks at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel, this is the region’s largest international wine tasting experience with more that 900 wines accompanied by some savory delights. From general admission to premier tasting specials, there are plenty of ticket options to please your palate. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis212 N. Jan. 28: Join Stone Soup Cottage for the highly anticipated 3rd Annual Wild Game Dinner next Wednesday. One seating will be offered, and guests can arrive by 6:30pm for a pre-dinner seasonal cocktail or glass of wine before the dinner at 7pm. There will be five courses included in the dinner starting with an amuse-bouche of smoked rabbit with a buttermilk and sage biscuit, demi glace and mustard. The remaining courses will include venison, lobster, antelope and more. Tickets are  $150 per person, which will include the entire tasting menu as well as wine flights for the first through fourth courses.
