Seoul Taco will soon become the sole tenant in the space it currently shares with Seoul Q. Though Seoul Taco moved to a larger spot in The Loop last year, the shared kitchen and space with the Korean barbecue and hot pot restaurant became chaotic. Founder and CEO David Choi said the plan is to expand the assembly line and dining space to accommodate the high demand for the Korean-Mexican fusion food. Seoul Q will be bowing out of the space, taking a temporary hiatus—and be looking for a new—starting Jan. 16, with renovations to be complete in early February. 6665 Delmar Blvd., The Loop, 314.863.1148

From Jan. 19-24, the Italian pastry shop will partner with Coat A Kid to help provide new coats, hats and gloves to St. Louis children in need. 6197 Delmar Blvd., The Loop, 314.932.1355

After 21 years in business, Jimmy’s On The Park Café Bistro Bar closed its doors for business on Jan. 6. As reported by St. Louis Magazine, owner Jimmy Kristo said the reason behind closing his namesake was due to both low sales and rent increase.
