After its official announcement back in February, Maplewood’s newest dining destination from Chef Matt Daughaday Reeds American Table is now open for business. Housed in the former Home Wine Kitchen location, the former executive chef of Taste aims to bring food and drinks based on classics and comfort foods of the kitchen staff. The menu features a variety of small plates and snacks, like fried pickles or ricotta gnocchi; cheeses served with olive oil and sea salt crackers; and large plates featuring whole roasted trout. Andrey Ivanov—formerly of Elaia and Olio—leads the restaurant’s bar program with a selection of wines, beer and house cocktails. 7322 Manchester Road, Maplewood, 314.899.9822
