This Week's Dish: Juniper to Debut Upstairs Room, Hosting Jubilee Speakeasy

March 7: Juniper’s Southern fare and cocktails will be available—following some finishing touches—in the new upstairs room above the restaurant for private parties and events starting this Wednesday. A week from Saturday, Juniper will be hosting its first Jubilee Speakeasy from 8pm-1am in the new space. Jubilee will happen the first Saturday of every month, with the first one featuring guest bartender Matt Obermark as he joins Juniper head bartender Drew Lucido while guest chef Chris Bork will be providing eats for the evening. March 21: Cedar Lake Cellars in Wright City will be hosting its first Whiskey, Beer and Dine dinner next month. The evening at the winery and event center will include a four-course meal featuring pairings such as North Atlantic smoked salmon with The Copywriter (Jameson Irish whiskey and fresh squeezed lemonade with honey topped with club soda) and Guinness pot pie paired with a pint of Guinness. The dinner will be held from 7-10pm for $70 per person. March 28: Coffee-lovers unite next month at Maplewood’s 6th Annual Coffee Crawl. As the region’s only walkable caffeine celebration, attendees will take the streets of historic Maplewood while tasting coffees from all over the world. Participating spots include: La Cosecha Cofee Roasters, Strange Donuts, Kakao Chocolate, Living Room, Foundation Grounds Coffee House & Cafe and many more. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the host locations.
