This Week's Dish: Cardwell's At The Plaza Hosts First Beer Dinner With 4 Hands Brewing Co.
April 22: Tomorrow head to Cardwell’s at the Plaza for the restaurant’s first collaboration beer dinner with 4 Hands Brewing Co. Attendees are invited to enjoy pairings of 4 Hands’ Smoked Lemon Shandy and Single Speed beers with beer bread crostini with duck liver mousse and watermelon-onion pickle during the reception.
Cuvee Diable, a saison barrel-aged with tart cherries, will be paired with a roasted Missouri pork loin stuffed with dried cherry sausage and natural au jus and cherry cola barbecue-glazed rib bone. The evening will be capped off with their Chocolate Peanut Butter Milk Stout served as a float, with roasted banana ice cream and beer-glazed mini doughnuts. April 25: This weekend, help Soulard welcome Spring Center Gourmet to the neighborhood. As reported by Feast, the shop has been in the former Feraro’s space since January, but the owners haven’t hosted a formal “grand opening” for the deli and retail shop. In lieu of that, on Saturday, April 25 the shop will offer wine tastings and deli samples as well as live music from 2-5pm on their shaded patio to all who stop by. 1862 S. 10th St., Soulard, 314.899.9707
April 26: Join 21st Street: Brewer’s Bar and PW Pizza for Boar and Brew Feast from 1-4pm on Sunday, April 26 to mark the opening of 21st Street’s newly completed beer garden. The event, which takes place rain or shine (don’t worry, umbrellas should be arriving for the patio this week), will feature live music and giveaways.
