Oct. 29: The Saint Louis Artists Guild presents Black Angels Project
In partnership with Link Auction Galleries, the St. Louis Arts Alliance hosts their latest collaboration based upon George Crumb’s avant-garde quartet, Black Angels, which premieres on Wednesday at 5000 Washington Place, from 6:30-9:30pm. Fashion designer Michael Drummond will costume select dancers who will perform around a set composed of architectural relics. Chef Samantha Nawrocki, from Libertine, will provide food that showcases the contrast of the heavenly divine and the fallen angel, while the wine merchant will provide a wine tasting to pair. The evening reaches a highlight when a quartet of musicians from the St. Louis Symphony (Jooyeon Long, Eva Kozma, Morris Jacob & Ken Kulosa) perform the unconventional quartet, “Black Angels”.
