April 18: NUUFORM Launch Party at Enamel
For lovers of both art and fashion, mark your calendars to attend the launch party and pop-up event for artist Rachel Sperry and her new line of knitwear, NUUFORM, on Saturday, April 18 at Enamel. Following her April 18 launch party, which will take place at Enamel from 7-9pm, guests will have a chance to shop the garments on Sunday, April 19 from 12-5pm for a pop-up shop of NUUFORM’s goods as part of its campaign to support up-and-coming designers in the Midwest. April 18: Craft Alliance presents Makers Ball
Arts organization Craft Alliance presents Makers Ball at the Palladium on Saturday, April 18 at 6pm. The gala event, formerly known as Artrageous, will celebrate makers and the power of craft to benefit the many exhibitions and education opportunities offered by Craft Alliance. The event is chaired by Sheila Greenbaum and Gary Wasserman and Jeff and Paula Reed. Crafty cocktail attire suggested. For tickets and information, visit Makers Ball on the web.

April 21: F2 = Food + Fashion
On Tuesday, April 21, Brainchild Events will host their next F2 event at Benton Park Cafe from 7-10pm. The unique event brings together food- and fashion-lovers for a four-course meal influenced by a local designer’s collection. This year, Chef Tyler Davis will be crafting a menu to complement several rounds of looks from St. Louis designer Jacqueline Nicole.   • Burlington announced this week that they will be opening up a new location in Chesterfield Valley. The new location will be the ninth in the state and will bring an additional 50-100 jobs to the area, with a slated opening date of Fall 2015.
  • Just in time for opening day, the owners of Lusso have announced an exciting partnership with Ballpark Village, where they have signed on as the new buying, merchandising and design group for the Bud Shop, in addition to several other satellite shops that will be set up around the venue. Although the shop will still carry classic BPV gear, the ladies of Lusso are excited to offer a more fashion-forward selection of merchandise that will include jewelry, scarves, designer items from Alex Woo and several custom collections commissioned for the new project.
