the clothesline, June 19
The first edition in a new art series presented at Blank Space on Cherokee, the clothesline presents an interactive visual installation by crochet pro Angelina Fasano, with music by DJ’s Agile1, Sinamin (of Old school 95.5), Anisto and Divi. The clothesline represents the balance between strength and vulnerability in an ode to the creative woman. Visit the clothesline on the web for details. BLUSHfest, June 19
Get festival-ready at BLUSH in Kirkwood this Thursday while enjoying live music, margaritas and tacos from Amigo’s. Stock up on summer-ready gear while enjoying 20 percent off Free People, Show Me Your MuMu, Brightly Twisted, House of Harlow and Blu Pepper. Other activities include hair braiding from 5-6pm. The event takes place from 5pm-8pm at 110 N. Clay Ave.

Purses & Pumps for Pooches & Pals, June 19
The 9th annual benefit for the Humane Society Animal Cruelty Fund takes place on Thursday from 6pm-8pm at the organization’s headquarters on Macklind Ave. Guests will network while enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres during the main event—a designer shoe and bag raffle. RAW St. Louis presents Panorama, June 19
The St. Louis branch of RAW: Natural Born Artists presents their next multi-media showcase on Thursday, June 19, featuring a variety of area creatives in music, fashion, hair, makeup, modeling and performing arts. Artists include Cyanide Studios, Miss Honey, Hannah Waddell, Old Man and the She and in Reverie, among others. For details, visit RAW STL on the web. WCE Bus Tour, June 21
The Summer Resale Bus Tour takes place this Saturday from 10am-3:30pm as part of The Shopping Co.’s annual trip about town. Guests will be escorted to several area resale shops including Women’s Closet Exchange and The Vault. Extras include a boxed gourmet lunch, guided tour, 20 percent off at each stop, treats, prizes and more. Limited tickets available!

Vintage Bliss Market, June 21-22
Visit Westport Plaza’s one-stop shop for vintage, antique and handmade finds on on Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 12-5pm for a vintage market featuring goods sold by local vendors.   • 2014 Hot List winner for Best Streetwear, CLR-MNSTR, has moved a few storefronts down to 1136 Washington Avenue, a space previously inhabited by Eve’s Apple Vintage. After Eve’s Apple packed up shop and moved to Cherokee, CLR-MNSTR jumped at the chance to snag the new locale that sits at the base of the Meridian Lofts building. The new shop is set to open July 1.
  • St. Louis fashion artist and designer Michael Drummond has confirmed that he will host the second edition of TRUNK, the pop-up event series that will take place at Moxi Enterprises on Thursday, June 26. The event is slated to feature an exclusive selection of clothing, accessories and more by several area designers (TBD) including Drummond.
