This Week In Fashion: The Annual Buzz List Party and The Red Winter Fashion Affair

Celebrating movers and shakers from around the Lou, ALIVE Magazine’s annual Buzz List Party occurs this Friday, Feb. 7 at Lucas Park Grille on Washington Avenue. Guests can drink and mingle with St. Louis taste-makers and influencers in a cocktail atmosphere while sampling appetizers in an exclusive lounge set up for the event. Ticket specials will be announced this week through the event Facebook page and can be purchased here. Buzz-Listers for 2014 include designers Michael Drummond and Anjali Kamra, restauranteurs Ben Poremba, Scott Carey and Derek and Lucas Gamlin, and Arch River advocates Susan Trautman, Deanna Venker and Maggie Hales, among others.

Fine Jeweler AieChe will host a launch party on Sunday, Feb. 9 at the Kranzberg Art Center in Grand Center. The event will consist of a show, auction and presentation of their exquisite pieces. AieChe creator Demetrius Ball specializes in diamond grading, custom jewelry, manufacturing, repair, restoration, and personal jewelry consultation.

On Sunday, Feb. 9 from 6pm-11pm, The Red Winter Fashion Affair presents a networking event highlighting St. Louis designers and boutiques. The event will take place at Downtown eatery and event spaceĀ The Rustic Goat with a cocktail hour presented by Schpilka Vodka followed by a runway show and pop-up shops. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Effort For AIDS program which provides support and education on the prevention of HIV/AIDS in the St. Louis area. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite or at the door.
