March 19: RAW St. Louis presents Grandeur
The next edition of RAW St. Louis’ quarterly showcase takes place on Thursday at 8pm, once again at The Ready Room in The Grove. The multi-media event will feature the work of artists, fashion designers, photographers and musicians.   • Downtown streetwear shop DNA has announced through their Instagram page that they have just signed a lease for a second location, set to open in the Loop. DNAU plans to offer new brands and an expanded collection of gear for the ladies. 6370 Delmar Blvd., The Loop.
  • New streetwear/skate shop Failed Society has opened up on Cherokee Street, offering national brands Crooks & Castles and DGK, and local brands Move In Silence and Hashtag Clothing and their own in-house line, Failed Society. “Our line is rebellious, creative and pushes the envelope,” says Joe Schiro, who owns the store with his brother,Nick Schiro, the creative voice behind the brand. “The store has an edgy feel and we carry fashionable,¬†high-end street wear, skateboard apparel, skateboard decks among other merchandise. We really wanted it to have a New York-meets-L.A. vibe.” Failed Society is open seven days a week from 11am-9pm. 2626 Cherokee Street.¬†
