RBar Patio Party at Ruth’s Chris, June 26
Ten local fashion and lifestyle bloggers come together to host an exciting happy hour event for ALIVE readers on the patio at Ruth’s Chris Clayton RBar on Thursday, June 26. Guest will enjoy complimentary appetizers and drink sampling. RSVP early for a chance to win a patio party for 10 guests, complete with complimentary cocktails and appetizers (must be present to win). Lafayette 148 Trunk Show, June 26-28
Mister Guy Women’s Store in Ladue hosts a trunk show event this weekend for Lafayette 148, a sophisticated womenswear line that is of the boutique’s top brands. A representative from the brand will be on-site to recommend new items and assist with fittings. Stop by Mister Guy Saturday or Sunday at 9817 Clayton Rd.

Fashion and Food, June 26
Bistro 1130 presents an evening of fashion and food, featuring clothing courtesy of Klutch and jewelry by Belle Style. The Bistro’s Chef Karim will be previewing new creations to please the palate while music will be provided by DJ Sounds. The event will take place at 1130 Town and Country Crossing from 5:30pm-10:30pm.

Kids in America Party, June 27
Blue Bird the Boutique celebrates the release of their newest products this Friday at their Delmar Loop boutique, complete with tunes, appetizers and beer provided by PBR. Guests will also enjoy a special pop-up shop featuring several local vendors in addition to games and giveaways. Join the fun Friday, beginning at 6pm, 6635 Delmar Blvd.

ULTRA White Party, June 28
The hottest VIP event during Pride weekend takes place Saturday, June 28 at Lumen event space. The annual ULTRA White Party will feature live music, drink specials and more, with 10 percent of the proceeds benefiting Promo, top LGBT and straight ally human rights organization. The festivities kick-off at 6pm for VIP ticket holders and 8pm for general admission. Start planning your outfit now, and grab tickets before they’re gone!

  • After several years of business, and a stellar showing at STLFW, international clothing boutique Pace Farias has announced that they are closing the doors of their Plaza Frontenac location and relocating to Las Vegas, effective immediately.
  • Ivy Hill has announced that they will not be renewing the lease at their Central West End location. After six years of business, owner Hillary Dutcher has made the decision to focus solely on the boutique’s newest location at Ladue’s Colonial Marketplace. Ivy Hill CWE will close at the end of July, and customers can currently snag merchandise at 30 percent off.
  • “Project Runway:Under the Gunn” finalist and St. Louis-based designer Shan Keith announced on Facebook last week that his winning jacket design from the Francesca’s Challenge that aired on the show several weeks ago was put into production and is currently available both in-stores and online as of June 18.
