Saks Fifth Avenue Caravan of Shoes Trunk Show—Join Saks Fifth Avenue this Thursday, Oct. 10 from 5:30pm-7:30pm in the 10022 Shoe Department for cocktails and a caravan of designer shoes and handbags unlike any other. Featured designers include, Celine, Alaia, Dolce & Gabbana and countless others. The trunk show is being held in honor of the Queen’s Gala set to be held at Saks on Friday, Oct. 18. STLFW Wraps With Fashion’s Day Out and Events at Saks and Neiman’s—The ten-day fashion endeavor officially wrapped on Saturday with Fashion’s Day Out, a shopping tour of local boutiques featuring trunk shows with national designers. Participating boutiques welcomed designer goods into their stores for a shopping extravaganza. Saks Fifth Avenue had designer Tess Giberson in-store for a presentation of her fall pieces and special Q&A with local and national bloggers. Neiman Marcus showed their latest and greatest fall trends out of their CUSP department. Shoppers were able to trouble-shoot any styling difficulties for the current season. Saks Fifth Avenue CEO to Attend Queen’s Gala— It was announced today that Saks Fifth Avenue CEO Steve Sadove will be coming in town for the Queen’s Gala next Friday, Oct. 18. This will be his first visit since the major renovation that took place in the St. Louis store over the past year. Sadove is looking forward to participating in the Queen’s Gala which is raising funds for Queen Power, an educational initiative of the World Chess Hall of Fame that looks to bring more girls to the game of chess. Sadove has been the driving force behind the Saks Gives initiative, which supports nonprofits in the cities where they operate.
Etsy POP!Up Event at The Boulevard—This Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10am-3pm the best of Show Me Etsy vendors are doing a one-day-only POP!Up shop at The Boulevard. This event gives shoppers an excellent way to experience the vendors’ products up close and personal, as opposed to how they are typically found through your computer. Eleven participating vendors were curated by HGTV Star and St. Louis native Jessie Miller. The Boulevard is located at 1 The Boulevard in Brentwood.
