Summer Skincare Workshop, July 30
Join expert Julie Longyear of Blissoma for a class that helps you take your summer skincare routine to the next level. Guests will be treated to a mineral sunscreen sampling, valuable education on “nano” mineral technology and nutrition and a Q&A and advice session with Longyear. The class is $15 to join and will take place at Indigo Massage & Wellness from 6-7:30pm on July 30.

CWE Flea, August 2
Scoop up some fresh local goodies by a variety of St. Louis area crafters at the monthly sale event that takes place at 449 N Euclid in the Central West End. 9a-2p.

The Fly Market at The Gramophone, August 2
The Gramophone presents The Fly Market featuring vendors (including Traces of Truth, Feeling Moody and Gimme That! Vintage), art, food, beer, DJs and beats. The event is free to enter, and takes place from 11am-4pm.

Pins and Needles, Aug. 2
Rebranded and revamped, Pins and Needles is sure to be one of the top fashion show events of the summer and will feature four designers who will compete for a spot at one of October’s Saint Louis Fashion Week events among other prizes. St. Louis menswear designer Paulie Gibson will be headlining the event, and a selection of local fashion industry pros will be judging the contestants in categories including design, construction and saleability. The show kicks off at 7pm at the Gallery 400 event space at 400 Washington Avenue. Tickets are available online and at the door.

West Model & Talent Model Search Event, Aug. 2
St. Louis-based West Model and Talent Management will host a model search event at St. Louis Premium Outlets on Saturday, Aug. 2 from 1-4pm in the Center Court. Current models will show off the latest looks from some of the mall retailers, and new models will have a chance to connect with the agency on a face-to-face basis.  For more information, visit West Models on the web.
