On Wednesday, join the beauty experts of Neiman Marcus to kick off Saturday’s Beauty Event. The pre-party will feature mini makeovers, skincare treatments, and spring’s newest colors and trends while enjoying refreshments, light bites and music. Feb. 19-22: Scarlett Garnet’s Super Clearance Party
Unfortunately, St. Louis has to say goodbye to another local business. This time it’s Cherokee Street’s Scarlett Garnet. Although their webstore, Kansas City location and wholesale efforts are still going strong, the St. Louis locale is liquidating their inventory. The events and sales last all weekend long with various themes and discounts offered per night. Be sure to stop in and share a toast with designer Katie Miller! Feb. 21: Neiman Marcus Beauty Buzz
The Press Club of Metropolitan St. Louis teams up with Neiman Marcus for their annual Beauty Buzz event that will take place of Saturday from 10:30am-2:30pm in the cosmetics department. This year’s event is hosted by Carol Voss, Julie Catron, Wendy Brumitt and Tricia Voss. Guests will learn cosmetics and skincare tricks from NM experts while enjoying refreshments and lite bites. Next Week: GENT! Designer Showcase
Tickets are still available for GENT!, St. Louis’ men’s designer showcase that will feature Paulie Gibson, Shan Keith, Lindbergh and Christian Michael. The event will take place Thursday, Feb. 26 from 6-10pm. For tickets and information, visit the official event page.
- Craft Alliance has announced the rebranding of their yearly benefit gala, formerly Artrageous, now known as Makers Ball. The event will take place on Saturday, April 18 at the Palladium and will celebrate the power of craft to benefit the long-standing arts organizations and educational outreach programs.
- St. Louis artist Lauren Rundquist has taken her handpainted shoe line, LaQuist, to the next level by teaming up with Solea Water, a STL-based charity that is dedicated to alleviating water poverty by providing long-term sustainable water solutions to communities that need them most. Every pair of shoes sold earns Solea $15 that will go toward their efforts in Latin America in addition to being matched by the TOMS One For One Movement. - The Clover is the newest site for Craft Alliance Fiber Artist in Residence Grace Kubilius‘ next installation which is is up and ready to view at the Webster Groves shop. The exhibit will be ready to view for the next month and showcases Kubilius’ unique fiber forms.
