Feb. 26: GENT! Men’s Designer Showcase
GENT! presents an exciting lineup of menswear designers in the first fashion event dedicated to St. Louis’ stylish studs. Designers include Paulie Gibson, Lindbergh, Shan Keith and Christian Michael. A percentage of proceeds benefit The Humane Society of Missouri. The event begins with a Men’s Lounge and cocktail event at 6pm and the runway show starts at 8pm. Feb. 26-28: Sydney’s Closet Sample Sale
Plus-sized shoppers can save up 80 percent off of Sydney’s Closet special occasion gowns for the company’s first sample sale that will be held at Honey’s Child Boutique the last weekend in February. The selection features one-of-a-kind designs for evening, cocktail, prom and even bridal gowns. Hours are: Thursday, Feb. 26 from 3-7pm; Friday, Feb. 27 from 3-7pm and Saturday, Feb. 28 from 11am-3pm. 1927 Washington Avenue, Downtown.
Feb. 28-March 1: Paperdolls Warehouse Sale
Paperdolls boutique hosts a huge end-of-season sale at their Kirkwood warehouse, featuring up to 90 percent off of spring/summer and fall/winter merchandise. Brands include Laundry, Chaser, BB Dakota and Tart. The sale takes place from 9am-4pm both days and is free to enter. Feb. 27-March 7: Resale Shop Hop
A slew of St. Louis resale stores are hosting a Resale Shop Hop from Feb. 27-March 7. Customers can participate in the self-guided tour by purchasing a coupon book for $5 that includes special discounts at each store during the Shop Hop. Stores include The Resale Shop, Revive, Panache Plus, Vintage Haberdashery, Ditto family Resale, Rung, The Refined Room and Get the Word Out. Shoppers can also have their passports stamped at each participating store for a chance to win a bundle of gift certificates valued at almost $200. Various locations.
Mar. 1: Women’s Clothing Swap at Perennial
Want to trade clothes? Perennial hosts a women’s clothing shop on Sunday from 1-3pm allowing you to trade your unused clothing in for something new. Attendees can bring clothing, shoes and accessories to donate and “shop” for new items to refill your wardrobe. All proceeds benefit Perennial’s education programs.
