Michael Drummond Trunk Show at CAM—Join local designer and Project Runway alum Michael Drummond at the Contemporary Art Museum this Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 5:30pm—8:30pm for a chance to shop the newest additions to his line, Exquisite Corpse. A broad range of price points and looks will be available as shoppers sip on complimentary gingersnap cocktails and support the local arts. The Contemporary Art Museum is located at 3750 Washington Blvd.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Vincent Longo Comes To St. Louis—Join Soft Surroundings this Thursday, Dec. 12 from 5pm-8pm for a makeover beauty event. The event will feature free makeovers for all guests as well as a free Vincent Longo lipgloss for the first 65 guests.  Complimentary food and drinks will be available for guests as they shop the line and have their makeup done by an industry professional. Soft Surroundings is located at 33 The Boulevard in Brentwood.

Rungolee Trunk Show at Ivy Hill Ladue—St. Louis-based designer Rungolee has teamed up with Ivy Hill in Ladue for a special holiday trunk show this Thursday, Dec. 12 from 11am–6:30pm. Designer Anjali Kamra will showcase holiday-inspired looks that will take you through the party season as well as a bevy of accessories, scarves and effortless basics that make perfect gifts. Ivy Hill Ladue is located at 8835 Ladue Road in the Colonial Marketplace.

Lucifer Vir Honestus Trunk Show at Elleard Heffern—Join fine jeweler Elleard Heffern this Thursday, Dec. 12 to kick off the three-day trunk show with Milan-based designing husband and wife team Lucifer Vir Honestus. The line is best known for its work with rare semiprecious and precious jewels and has been seen gracing the pages of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and The New York Times. The show will run through Dec. 14, Elleard Heffern is located at 101 South Hanley Road in Clayton.

Madewell New Collection Event—Join the newly opened retailer this Friday. Dec. 13 from 11am—2pm to check out the latest holiday collection. Shoppers can enjoy hot cider and festive treats while gifting experts help navigate through even the toughest to please on your holiday list. Madewell is located at 36 Plaza Frontenac.

  • Ziezo, a fashion destination located in The Loop for over thirty years, has sadly announced that they will be closing their doors for business after the new year. The slated last business day is Jan. 5, so be sure to stop in, grab some gifts and show them some love before you miss your chance.
  • My Vintage Addiction, located in Belleville, has announced that they will be closing for business at the end of the year as well. The vintage company still plans to do special events and focus on their upcoming launch of an online store.
  • Craft Alliance celebrates its 50th year in 2014. Founded in 1964, the organization remains the only one of its kind in the region to focus entirely on contemporary craft. The organization will commemorate this milestone with a year of celebrations that will include the Alison and John Ferring Scholarship Fund, making 150 new scholarships available to children and adults for classes, camps and workshops throughout 2014. They’ll also celebrate with $50 workshops, $50 family memberships (normally $75), and theARTrageous GOLD Ball on April 12, 2014.
