Off Saks 5TH Avenue to Open in St. Louis’ Premium Outlet—This month marks an exciting new addition for luxury bargain shoppers, Saks Fifth Avenue’s OFF 5TH will be opening at the St. Louis Premium Outlets this Thursday Aug. 22. This will be the first location in Missouri for the retailer. Shoppers will enjoy many unique experiences such as a DJ playing today’s hottest dance beats Thursday through Saturday from 5pm-8pm, a complimentary photobooth all day Saturday, and a snack bar featuring complimentary pink popcorn, candied chocolates and bottled water. Kellwood and Brown Shoe Company Announce Apparel License for Sam Edelman—Local apparel manufacturer and marketer Kellwood Company and Brown Shoe company have announced the two companies signed a licensing agreement to produce women’s, junior’s and girl’s apparel under the Sam Edelman name. The full collection of distinctive and fashion-forward looks will share a similar aesthetic to the Sam Edelman footwear line. Distribution will be nationwide in select department and specialty stores as well as Sam Edelman retail stores and Sam Edelman.com (slated to launch this fall). The apparel line will be available to consumers in the Fall of 2014.
Laura Kathleen and Vogue Footwear to Collaborate on Upcoming Line—The local designer and Project Runway alum is proud to announce an upcoming shoe collaboration with the locally based footwear company Vogue Footwear. Laura Kathleen will be designing a capsule collection for the company as well as doing a cross promotional shoot with her fall clothing line and their fall footwear line at the end of this month. Diba Imports L.P. to Launch Men’s Shoe Collection—The manufacturer of Bonx and Diba True brands of women’s footwear is launching their first menswear shoe line, TESTOSTERONE. Mother Model Management Announce Their Second Tribute Show—The internationally acclaimed scouting team, Jeff and Mary Clarke, present their second annual Tribute fashion show this Nov. 23.
