Luxury Garage Pop-Up Shop — Join Chicago’s premier upscale consignment boutique at the Collective at MX on Thursday, June 27 from 11am-7pm, for a one-day pop-up shopping event. Pins and Needles Fashion Show — “Pins and Needles” is an alternative fashion show inspired by rock-n-roll with a little edge and a dash of attitude. Happening Friday, June 28 at Plush, this one-of-a-kind show will present collections from local designers: VICTROLA, I AM SLY, Socialite, Blue Bird the Boutique, and Paulie Gibson. The show sticks to its rocker roots, providing live music by: Red Zero, The Mercs, and Kimi and the Underwires. Doors open at 6pm, there’s a marketplace 6-9pm and the runway show starts at 9pm. Wai Ming Trunk Show at Ivy Hill – Stop by Ivy Hill’s Ladue location this Saturday, June 29 for a Summer Trunk show and preview of Wai Ming’s Fall 2013 collection. Wai Ming’s architectural yet feminine designs are a perfect fit for the sweet aesthetic for which Ivy Hill has become known. Stop by and pick up the perfect dress for a night on the town while enjoying light refreshments and a chance to chat with designer Emily Koplar from 10am to 4pm. Ivy Hill, 8835 Ladue Road, Ladue.

Soleil Grand Opening – It’s not often an event comes around where you are encouraged to make a spectacle of yourself. This Saturday, June 29 at Soleil by Erker’s, spectacles are encouraged. Erker’s, the Saint Louis based eyewear company, has expanded once again, taking the local eyewear boutique to Plaza Frontenac with a brand new upscale sunglass shop, Soleil. The boutique will specialize in the finest assortment of sunglass collections from around the world. Many of the styles carried will be exclusive to this Saint Louis location. The event starts at 5pm with drinks, appetizers and a few surprises. Soleil is located at 1701 South Lindbergh, Suite 232.

Mannequins on the Loop – This is the fifth year for the Mannequins on the Loop project, sponsored by Figure 8. The initiative aims to showcase the talent of local artists, promote Delmar-area businesses and raise sustainability awareness. Each mannequin is outfitted with clothing crafted from only recycled materials and represents a specific Loop business. If you haven’t seen them, act quickly because the mannequins will only be on display through this Sunday, June 30. A finale and awards ceremony will be held at 5pm this Sunday June 30 at the Regional Arts Commission, 6128 Delmar Boulevard.
