The Factory Fashion Show And Night Market Showcases Local Talent During Saint Louis Fashion Week

 In Event, Style

For those who are eager to support emerging St. Louis area designers this fall, there are several events during the expanded Saint Louis Fashion Week season that will allow you to do just that. Coming up on Oct. 8, designer Kristin Johnson will bring together six colleagues for an unconventional runway event that will take place at an equally unconventional space.

Turning the former home of Complex Night Club (3515 Chouteau Ave.) into its backdrop, The Factory Fashion Show and Night Market will star designers Lauren Tracy, Mula Rouge Knits and Tings by Casherel Thirdkill, Q Liu, Brandin Vaughn, Barbara Bultman, Nasheli Juliana and Perpetua by Kristin Johnson, while also featuring the talents of DJ Radames, art installations by Zen Duda, and vendors selling local art, jewelry and goods.

The event aims to show off the convergence of fashion and art, while highlighting a wide variety of local talent. “I’m all about shifting fashion back towards small scale, underground and the essence of what it is—designers, kids at heart, doing what we love, without the rules and and restraints of the industry,” explains Johnson. “I wanted to create a platform for creative individuals to collaborate and produce something against the grain and exciting. Something we can all relate to.”

Snag your tickets to The Factory Fashion Show and Night Market now, and mark your calendars for the big show on Oct. 8 at 7pm.
