It’s that time of year when green takes over and the Missouri Botanical Garden hosts their yearly event, the Green Ball, sprouting some unique wardrobes in the name of fun and philanthropy.

St. Louis area movers and shakers will gather together on Friday, Nov. 14 to celebrate all things green, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the EarthWays Center, a division of the Missouri Botanical Garden that promotes sustainability through environmental education and improving the built environment. This year, the theme is “mod autumn,” featuring “green” extras including locally sourced food and beverages, recycled programs printed with soy-based ink, composted food waste and more.

Be sure to dress to impress: An expert panel of fashion and style judges will award “Best Dressed” to multiple winners who will take home an overnight stay at the Moonrise Hotel, a Missouri Botanical Garden membership and an Eclipse Restaurant gift card.
