Style: Winter Warm Up

Prepping for snow season is as simple as scoring a fab new two-piece uniform.

As each show season introduces new ideas by the droves, knowing which looks are musts can prove hard to decipher. Sure, Chanel’s Yeti look is fun and bust-celebrating silhouettes are having a moment, but when it comes to worth-it investment pieces, one must remember one perennial rule: in winter, it’s all about the coats and the boots. This year, when shopping for your topper and frigid-weather-fitting footwear, focus on great lengths; classic tweed and wool outerwear that skims the knee looks new when worn with of-the-moment thigh-high heels. When outdoors, the two will be responsible for representing your style; if, underneath, all you’re wearing are panties and a push-up bra (in the name of fashion’s embracing of femininity and curves, of course—or laundry day…), no one will be the wiser.
