ALIVE on the Scene at Urbanaire

 In Style

Supporters of the LGBT community came out in droves to the Contemporary Art Museum this past Saturday for the sixth annual Urbanaire in support of PROMO and the work it does in the name of LGBT equality.

The statewide organization is known for helping LGBT Missourians create a supportive and visible community, become active in the democratic process and work for their equal protection under the law. Successful events like Urbanaire have helped the organization build community awareness and grassroots support for LGBT equality and increase civic participation of LGBT Missourians.

If there was one theme of the evening–other than the worthy cause–it was definitely great style. Here are some of our favorites of the evening…

Not only did they come dressed to the nines, but Debra Bass and Ted Wight, honorary chairs of the event, provided words of inspiration to the attentive crowd.

Vital VOICE CEO and Publisher Darin Slyman looked dapper as ever in his tailored to a T Bill Tornade suit brought back from his recent trip to Paris.

We absolutely loved the juxtaposition of these two outfits together. His simple, preppy look is one that we are loving for men as the weather begins to warm. Her fabulously detailed top was perfect for an evening at CAM.

This party-goer’s perfect coif and ‘6os-inspired dress was the perfect backdrop for her date’s clean and casual silhouette.

Proof that a great dress can take you anywhere, each of these lovely ladies (and gentleman) embodied effortlessly chic without a hitch.

ALIVE is honored to support our dear friends and allies at PROMO. Congratulations to the organization on another successful event!
