In the famous words of Tim Gunn: “Designers, it’s time to head down to the runway!”

Saint Louis Fashion Week just announced its last call for designers to enter their collections to be shown for the Spring/Summer 2014 runway shows. The deadline for submissions is Friday, Feb. 28. From those who apply, a select group will be chosen to show their collections at GLOW, Saint Louis Fashion Week’s annual runway show, on April 25.

Here’s how it works: Designers must complete a form outlining the basics, including when they started designing, their design aesthetics and their experience showing their work. From there, designers are chosen from the slate of applicants. If chosen to show their collections in GLOW, the designers are provided with the perks: A hair and makeup team, professional runway models, a fashion photographer and major exposure to the press and a slew of retail buyers.

GLOW wouldn’t be possible without outstanding talent and a creative mix of designers. All local and regional designers are highly encouraged to apply. But be quick! The deadline is in one week. Those interested can apply here and can find more information about Saint Louis Fashion Week at www.STLFW.com.

Also, for those hoping to be considered for as a STLFW ambassador, today is your last day to apply. Last-minute entrants should use this form to apply and learn more about the perks.
