Fashion and charitable giving were the name of the game at last night’s Saint Louis Fashion Week Kick Off Party at West County Center, where ticket sales generated a donation of over $2,500 to charity partner Friends of Wings.

The cocktail hour (featuring a fun photobooth by Sara’s Social Booth, wine and mingling) was followed up by a runway show that featured fall looks from some of the shopping center’s top retailers (Nordstrom, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Altar’d State, Macy’s, Gap and Geranium), styled by ALIVE Magazine’s own Contributing Stylist Trudy Hayden.

Afterward, shoppers hit the pavement to snag the deals straight off the runway. The event marks one of the first of Saint Louis Fashion Week’s yearly event series which brings new talent to STL in addition to offering unique opportunities for St. Louis’ own local designers.
