STL Music Sessions: 15 Questions For Seth Porter Of The Blind Eyes
Popular St. Louis pop-rock band The Blind Eyes is known for its poppy, upbeat jams and catchy choruses. The four-man band released their latest EP, “World Record,” in June, and takes the stage for the first time since that release this Friday, Aug. 23, at The Pageant during a not-to-be-missed night for local music.
Aptly named “One Night Only,” this Friday’s show features four bands coming together for one event: Sleepy Kitty Music; The Incurables featuring guests from Funky Butt Brass Band and El Monstero; The Blind Eyes; and Shooting With Annie, who returns to the stage after a year-long hiatus.
We caught up with The Blind Eyes’ lead singer and guitarist Seth Porter to launch a new series of Q&As with buzzy local bands. Get to know the man behind the mic.
Keep up with The Blind Eyes on Facebook, listen to their latest EP, “World Record,” on Band Camp, and make sure to catch them live during “One Night Only” at the Pageant this Friday, Aug. 23. Tickets are $10 and doors open at 7pm.
