St. Louis Among Select Cities Nationwide To Host Special Concert For Gun Violence Awareness

This weekend, St. Louis will join select cities in a massive coast-to-coast effort to raise awareness about gun violence. On Sept. 25, a day officially marked by Congress as the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims, the Concert Across America to End Gun Violence will draw more attention to the root cause of so many of those losses.

The St. Louis concert will include performances from Liz Murphy, Angie Nicholson, Anna Blair and many more, and it will be produced and directed by local activist and performer Katie McGrath. The event will be held at at 6:00pm at the Central Reform Congregation, 5020 Waterman Ave. Tickets are free, but reservations are required. Donations are also requested to cover expenses and benefit the Brady Foundation.

Simultaneous concerts will happen in Omaha, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Cincinnati and more. For details about all locations, visit the Concert Across America website.
