Designer and founder Chrissy Fogerty and art director Meg Ebaugh-Faris are eager to directly reach and build their fan base in New York and beyond, aiding in St. Louis’ mission to bridge the fashion gap between New York and the Midwest. “The event will be a brand showcase to connect with influencers, bloggers, celebrities and media outlets regarding our vision and mission,” explains Fogerty.

The 100-percent vegan and animal-friendly events will take place in a bohemian-style lounge crafted specifically for the brand, complete with cocktails, bites and special activations for event attendees throughout the day on Monday, Feb. 15. The celebration kicks off from 12-4pm with the Fauxgerty HOT Lounge, hosted by Lara Eurdolian of Pretty Connected, offering hot matcha, sake and a vegan broth bar. The Fauxgerty HOTBOX After Party, hosted by Keiko Lynn Groves of popular blog Keiko Lynn, is slated for that evening at 8pm, and will feature tarot card readings by Crimson Kitty, henna by Mehndi NYC and tunes by St. Louis-based entertainer DJ TrashTalk.  Fauxgerty will be spreading the St. Louis love by utilizing the talents of other local creatives for event needs, including photographers Elizabeth Wiseman and David Vassalli and is organized and produced by ALIVE Influencer Network.

“Personally, I am most excited to meet fellow fashion influencers who are paving new paths in the industry, female entrepreneurs and creative minds,” says Fogerty. “There is so much talent showcased during Fashion Week and I feel excited to see what others are creating and honored we are able to take part.”
