There is no doubt that Eric Greitens is a leader who embodies strength, courage and compassion. This April, TIME Magazine named Greitens  on its annual list of the 100 most influential people of the year. As an author and frequent correspondent on the major news networks, it is remarkable that Greitens still has energy left for his nonprofit organization, The Mission Continues, which supports veterans and their families. Understanding that veterans face many challenges as they return to civilian life after their service to their country, The Mission Continues assists in the transition process between the Pentagon, the VA and local communities. Greitens was featured on the cover of ALIVE’s August 2011 Work Issue, in recognition of his strong work ethic and efforts to improve the lives of St. Louis veterans. Read the August 2011 ALIVE Magazine story here.
