For their biggest issue of the year, Redbook Magazine has done something previously unheard of to honor their September issue: Placed six non-celebs (and non-models) on the cover—one of them a style blogger from St. Louis. Blogger Psyche Southwell (of Ecomony of Style), was one of six winners in the magazine’s second annual contest, Redbook Real Women Style Awards, to appear on the cover, which after just being announced today, has already earned praise in the normally model-driven industry.

According to Fashionista.com, a panel of judges including Fashion Police co-host Brad Goreski, makeup guru Mally Roncal and creative director of plus-size brand Eloquii, Jodi Arnold, helped the mag to narrow down the nearly 5,000 contestants who applied for the honor. Southwell broke the exciting news on her social media pages this morning stating how “honored and excited” she is about being selected for the cover. Snag Redbook’s September issue for more!
