St. Louis Arts Fair Takes Home 12 Pinnacle Awards

The St. Louis Art Fair was recently awarded not one, not five, but 12 Pinnacle awards from the International Festivals and Events Association, including the Grand Pinnacle for last year’s event.

Entrants came in from all over the world, from the Seoul Cartoon & Animation Festival and the World Gourmet Summit in Singapore to Bumbershoot in Seattle and the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC.

The St. Louis Art Fair is produced by Cultural Festivals, also based in St. Louis. Each award won was in the “Budget Category,” those operating on a budget between $250,000 and $750,000. Besides the Grand Pinnacle 2013 Show, other awards included gold medals in “Best TV Promotion,” “Cover Design,” “Promotional Poster,” “T-shirt Design,” “New Promotional Activity” and, intriguingly, “Most Creative/Effective News Stunt.”

Silver awards were given in “Best Street Banner” and “Miscellaneous On-Site Decor.” The festival also took home bronze in “Miscellaneous Printed Materials,”  and, for this year, “Company Image Pieces” and “Single Magazine Display Ad.”
