St. Louis Artists' Guild's Ann Metzger Exhibition Celebrates Centennial Opening Tonight

Tonight marks the beginning of this year’s Ann Metzger Memorial National All Media Exhibition, sponsored by the St. Louis Artists’ Guild. This year’s gallery celebrates 100 years of artwork presented through the guild and this exhibition. Artists from all over the U.S. will present media including paintings, sculptures and photography. Cash prizes, including a $1,000 Ann Metzger prize, will be awarded by a jury.

Ann Metzger was a past president of the guild, leaving her mark in the art world through abstract imaging and airbrush techniques.

Tonight’s opening reception is from 6-8:30pm. The exhibition will run until Jan. 4, 2015. For more information, visit the St. Louis Artists’ Guild.
