Sheer Elegance Fashion Show To Showcase St. Louis While Supporting Mathews-Dickey Boys & Girls Club

This Saturday, the Mathews-Dickey Boys & Girls Club presents their exciting yearly fashion event that celebrates St. Louis’ 250 years, Sheer Elegance “Gems St. Louis Style.” The event will showcase top St. Louis-area talent while honoring 20 high-school aged young women who will be recognized for their academic, extra-curricular and community service achievements and 20 elementary-to-middle school girls who will take part in a special “Meet Me in St. Louis” thematic presentation.

Featured designers include Shan Keith, Michael Drummond, Laura Kathleen, Qristyl Frazier, Paulie Gibson, Savvi Formalwear, A. J. Thouvenot, footwear by Brown Shoe Company brand Carlos Santana, and special guests that include international model Jennie Runk. The entertainment will also be a highlight and will focus on St. Louis history stemming from the Native American Mound builders, Lindbergh’s historic flight, legendary dance choreographer Katherine Dunham, the St. Louis Blues and more.
