KINK Hair and Notch were on the runway at Saint Louis Fashion Week.
The salons haven’t even celebrated five years in business yet (KINK Hair‘s third birthday is June 10. Notch celebrates its first birthday in August.) but they’ve already taken on the runway with fashion’s finest. Last fall, the nationally- and regionally-recognized stylists at both of Josh Nichols’ salons brought drama, finesse and all of their expertise to the hair and makeup for STLFW’s models. The best part is that they use the same style know-how and industry secrets to style the hair of their regulars.

Opera Theatre of Saint Louis’ festival is all about the romance.
Now through June 28, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis presents its six-week opera festival with romance popping up at almost every turn. Start your night by sharing a picnic with your cutie and then head inside to be swept away by the lush romance of “La rondine,” the romantic comedy of “The Barber of Seville,” the graceful love in “Richard the Lionheart” and the tragic romance of “Emmeline,” all performed completely in English and accompanied by members of the St. Louis Symphony. To cap it all off, enjoy cocktails under the stars and mingle with the evening’s performers. On Fridays, you can elevate an already dazzling evening with a date night package that includes gelato or sorbet and a bottle of wine to share.

COCA isn’t afraid to bring the drama.
Each year, COCA presents one of its premier art programs: its summer musical. For this year’s production, COCA knows very well that a musical isn’t much without a little drama and bite. That’s why this summer on June 26 and 27, COCA Theatre Company members will tell the story of “Bring It On: The Musical,” which demonstrates the complexities of friendship, betrayal, forgiveness and jealousy, all with appropriate sass.
