Eat a delicious meal for a great cause at Ruth’s Chris in Clayton next Wednesday, March 25 from 6:30-11pm. Thanks to a group of generous sponsors, 100 percent of the proceeds from the evening will benefit Special Spaces, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating dream bedrooms for children battling life-threatening illnesses.

The bedroom is one of the most important places for a child, and the goal of Special Spaces is to create unique rooms filled with children’s favorite colors, themes and things for children who are sick to feel truly special with, since they might be spending a lot of time at home. The organization has been able to transform more than 20 bedrooms since its beginnings in Tennessee in June 2011.

On average, these rooms cost approximately $2,500 to redecorate. By attending the benefit next Wednesday, the hope is to raise enough funding for three rooms as well as to promote awareness of the charity.

The menu for next Wednesday is as follows:

Entremet
Scallop Ceviche

Salad
BLT with cucumber basil ranch dressing

Entree
Manhattan strip steak on a bed of mashed potatoes with a mushroom Diane sauce served with roasted Brussel sprouts and fire roasted corn

Dessert
White chocolate bread pudding with chocolate bark

Tickets are $100 per person. For information and tickets, call 314.783.9900.
