Rungolee Presentation and Blogger Luncheon Recap
Local designer Anjali Kamra held an exclusive presentation of her latest Rungolee collection and a beautiful luncheon for visiting and local bloggers, fashionistas and the guest of honor, Fern Mallis at her impressive Ladue home this past Wednesday afternoon. Guests were welcomed with champagne cocktails and lunch provided by Ben Poremba of Salumme Beddu and Olio & Elaia.
As invitees trickled in, models were downstairs in hair and make-up preparing for the one-of-a-kind presentation.
Guests enjoyed a delicious mediterranean-inspired spread that included delectable dishes by one of St. Louis’ buzziest chefs.
After lunch, attendees were invited upstairs to view the Rungolee showroom. Kamra’s line is inspired by a globally chic woman and consist of rich silks and cottons that are adorned with expert beading and embroidery. Shoppers were enticed with french macaroons topped with candied Rungolee logos and prints.
Guests were then brought downstairs for a uniquely curated fashion presentation.
Models were placed in themed rooms on the ground floor and encouraged to engage with guests and their surroundings.
The inviting concept allowed the models to be comfortable in their clothing and allowed guests a voyeuristic glimpse into the Rungolee design concept. Shoppers could envision themselves in the clothing socializing, drawing, traveling truly embodying the inspiration.
