Wow-ing the crowd as the first to take the runway on Saturday, St. Louis’ own Michael Drummond showcased chic, avant-garde looks that blended his signature flair for knitwear and unique design aesthetic. As a bonus, a few of his models wore futuristic footwear prototypes he designed and assembled—the wood bases carved by a local artisan. The collection read space-aged-meets-renaissance with an air of sophistication and sex appeal.
